Autumn again…

One year has gone since we saw Burberrys Aviator boots on the runway.
Still I wouldn’t mind wearing them today, especially since the weather started to be a litt… autumnish!
This year, for those who couldn’t afford Burberrys you can buy similar ones for just 56 £ / 63 € at Ellos.
And even the heels are a bit wider so you can “manoeuvre” yourself through this stormy, wonderful autumn weather.
Don’t we just love this time of the year?

Finally I’m married!
Not really the best excuse why I have posted nearly nothing the last six months. Anyway, arranging a wedding this perfect as we had it, takes time and energy so you kind of have to accept this apology…
And of course you’ll all be awarded with tons of pictures from this wedding, the location and of course the clothes. Since Oslonians mostly is about the clothes, you get a little sneak preview of the dress!

Tie a scarf – French twist

Place middle of scarf at back of neck; let ends hang down in front.
Wrap ends around each other once loosely.

Then loop over each other again loosely.

Still holding ends, bring them to back of neck and tie in a tiny knot.

Et voilà, a scarf tied just like the Parisians do!

PS: Rectangle scarf from Dorothy Perkins. If you rather want to use a squared scarf, make sure to fold the scarf diagonally, then half and then half again to make the scarf a rectangle.

Baum und Pferdgarten

First time I heard of Baum und Pferdgarten was about five years ago… I guess it was at the time I bought my first Vogue. Anyway, five years have passed and one week ago I heard that name again.
Baum und Pferdgarten opened their first signature store in Norway and on that occasion they threw a party at Steen&Strøm.
The company is Danish (not German, as many would guess due to the name) and they were established in 1999. When they experienced economical difficulties in 2009, they survived thanks to the well-known Danish fashion brand Bruuns Bazaar. And their latest Spring / Summer 2011 collection showed that Baum und Pferdgarten is on their way up!
Favourite is the Holiday dress a knee long cocktail dress in white/brown with attached roses.
